Distraction Pickpocket Theft Tecumseh

On October 1, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., an elderly woman was walking on Revland Drive in the Town of Tecumseh when she was approached by a dark older vehicle. A heavy-set male in his 40s was driving, with two younger females in the back seat.

One suspect placed fake jewelry on the victim, then stole her gold necklace and pendant before the vehicle drove off.

The driver is described as:

-Male, 40s, heavy-set

-Olive complexion, Eastern European descent

-Strong accent

This incident is part of an ongoing trend of distraction thefts targeting vulnerable individuals. Please stay alert, protect your belongings, and report suspicious activity to police immediately.
