Suspect sought in theft from Leamington business

Essex County OPP is looking for assistance in identifying a person of interest in a shoplifting occurrence.

On January 10, 2026, at approximately 7:45 p.m., a business on Erie Street South in Leamington was entered by a male with a darker beard of shorter length, wearing a beige hooded sweatshirt under a black "puffy" winter coat. The male then left with over $2800.00 in items without payment.
