FRAUD ALERT – PLEASE BE AWARE
We have been made aware of individuals approaching people in public parking lots, including Walmart and Devonshire Mall, and falsely claiming to be Chick’n Ville delivery drivers.
These individuals may ask you to pay using your debit or credit card in exchange for cash, claiming that they cannot accept cash. They may even provide a receipt displaying the Chick’n Ville name.
THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH CHICK’N VILLE.
Please remember:
• Chick’n Ville DOES NOT have its own delivery drivers.
• We NEVER approach customers in parking lots or public places asking for payment.
• We NEVER ask anyone to use their debit or credit card in exchange for cash.
• Our deliveries are handled ONLY through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Skip.
• Payments should only be made inside Chick’n Ville or directly through an authorized delivery app.
DO NOT INSERT, TAP OR SWIPE YOUR CARD on any payment machine presented by someone claiming to be our driver.
If someone approaches you claiming to be a Chick’n Ville delivery driver, DO NOT provide your card, PIN, banking information or personal information.

how this scam happened:
There were two people working together. One person pretended to be a customer who had ordered food, while the other pretended to be a Chick’n Ville delivery driver.
They approached random people in parking lots and said the “driver” would not accept cash. The fake customer would then offer the person cash and ask them to pay the fake driver using their debit or credit card.
Once the victim used their card on the payment terminal, their card/payment information could be compromised and later used for fraudulent activity.
Please remember: Chick’n Ville does NOT have its own delivery drivers. Our deliveries are handled only through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Skip. Never use your card for a stranger in exchange for cash.
