Swan Killed and Eggs Destroyed at Point Pelee National Park
A poaching incident involving waterfowl is under investigation at Point Pelee National Park, believed to have occurred between 8 p.m. on April 23 and 8 a.m. on April 24 in the Marsh area.
Parks Canada is asking for the public’s assistance if you have:
• Information about suspicious persons or vehicles
• Any knowledge of the illegal discharge of a firearm
• Dashcam footage from the park entrance, Marsh Boardwalk, or Blue Heron day-use areas during this time
Poaching is a serious offence under the Canada National Parks Act.
