SUSPICIOUS FIRE INVESTIGATION IN ESSEX

A suspicious fire investigation leading to an increased police presence on Iler Road in the Town of Essex.

At approximately 7:31 a.m. on, September 21, 2024, members from the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Essex Fire and Rescue responded to a suspicious fire to a trailer in the 900 block of Iler Road in the Town of Essex.

The Ontario Fire Marshall and members of the OPP are actively investigating and are appealing to the public for assistance.

Anyone who may have observed suspicious activity around the area at the time is urged to contact the police at 1-888-310-1122.
