LaSalle- Theft of Gas in Stolen Vehicle

***LaSalle Police are investigating a theft of gas incident involving a stolen vehicle ***

On Tuesday March 19, 2019 at approximately 9:15 pm a male suspect attended a local LaSalle gas station and pumped $20 worth of gas into a stolen blue Ford Focus.  The suspect then left the local gas station without paying.

The male suspect is described as being white, in his early 20’s, approximately 5’8, with a slim build. He was wearing a dark camo jacket with a hood, black Adidas shoes, black track pants and bright blue baseball hat with white lettering on the the front.

Investigators are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect depicted in the surveillance photos.

The photos can be viewed on the LaSalle Police or Crime Stoppers social media pages and websites.

Seeking information about an animal cruelty case - "Elsa" the Cat.

Windsor and Essex County Humane Society is seeking information about the identity of the owner of this cat that was located in the Town of Essex January 9. She was in extremely poor condition when she was found. She is described as orange and white and approximately 18 pounds which is over weight. She is spayed and declawed. She is being cared for by veterinarians who are hopeful about her recovery. She has been named “Elsa” by the staff but is not available adoption yet.
