Police seek suspect who fled traffic stop on minibike

Windsor Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a minibike rider who fled from an attempted traffic stop.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on September 25, 2026, a Windsor Police traffic enforcement officer saw a gas-powered minibike travelling eastbound in the westbound lanes of University Avenue.
When the officer tried to pull him over, the rider refused to stop, abandoned the minibike, and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, with fair skin and red hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
He is wanted in connection with careless driving.
